Self Confidence - Self Esteem - Self Respect
Through the fundamental principles of Wah Lum Kung Fu, children develop physical, mental, and emotional balance and strength. Learning through movement not only builds a healthy body but also provides a physical way of knowledge that is appropriate, effective, and fun.
Utilizing the curriculum of Wah Lum Kung Fu, we teach the fundamentals of movement:
These underlying principles of movement are at the core of martial arts, dance, and all athletics, and form the basis for physical self-confidence. All the varying drills, games, forms, and exercises children learn in class are geared toward teaching these core fundamentals.
Through this traditional art form, children are able to learn about themselves and how to relate and respond to others, and their surroundings in a safe, noncompetitive environment. Youngsters learn the value and rewards of respect and self confidence as they move through the curriculum at their own pace. Authentic movements, derived from animals stimulate their imagination while fostering an appreciation for the natural world.
Moreover, Wah Lum Kung Fu provides children the opportunity to realize the productive use of their energy and the enjoyment of discovering the limitless potential provided by good effort and a positive attitude.
Wah Lum Kung Fu offers programs appropriate for youngsters 6 years old and up.
Wah Lum Kung Fu is a great place for my son. He doesn't play team sports and kung fu helps him develop his focus, strength, and self-esteem in a fun, noncompetitive environment. The teachers give caring and personal attention to each student and he looks forward to class each week.

Kung Fu has helped me a lot in sports. It has helped me calm down and remember things. It has helped me with my martial arts techniques. I really enjoy martial arts and learning how to use the weapons. I like the way Sifu Andrea and Sifu Evan teach.
